Fall Winter Fashion 2015 2016. Among all the trends that I’ve showed you in THIS post about trends, colors and prints that are cool this fall-winter season (a very useful guide, to keep on hand when you go shopping!), one of the main trends is..  the hottest color of the season: RED. And I’m really, really happy! I love red!

Red is super sexy (men like it, and that’s a good point!), it looks good on everyone and wearing this color makes you feel strong and confident. Then, it’s perfect for parties! :)

Red can be just a touch of color in a neutral color outfit. You MUST have a pair of red stilettos (perfect by night with a black dress) and a pair of red sneakers (Converse All Stars for instance). Do you remember my outfits with red Converse?  I wore them a lot! Also a tiny red bag, maybe a boston bag a top for this season. (Check out this outfit). An excellent idea by Gucci: what about a red hat on a formal dress? Why not?

RED FOR THE DAY

For the day, a red (almost) total look is great… even if you’d never dare more than some touches or you’ve always preferred wear it in the evening. Well you have to know that red for the day is not a big deal. Choose a red day dress (Like this one) not too short and match it with a pair of black shoes: over the knee boots like in this this outfit by Alberta Ferretti or a pair of biker boots, oxfords or sneakers. I strongly suggest Red pants : boyish pants like in Gucci but also palazzo pants or culottes. You can easily match them with black, gray and why not burgundy.

FOR THE NIGHT

There’s not much to say. that’s a classic! For a night out, choose a long or short red dress, I can bet that everyone’s eyes will be on you. You’ll never go unnoticed, red is a super sexy color! People usually wear dark colors so… let’s wear some red!

RED COAT OR CAPE

Red coat is a cult that you need to wear this season, possibly long, under the knee (I have this one!). Both this kind of item and the color will always go back in fashion, so don’t worry if is a bit out of budget. And if you already have one or you just want something different, try the cape!
