Exercise on the beach: sport and exercises to do on holiday to return home in great shape!

Exercise on the beach. When you’re on holiday, at seaside, in the mountains or in the hills… not only is this not an excuse to return to the city out of shape and weighing lots but it’s also a great excuse to work out while having fun, without even realizing it and go home in perfect shape !

IF YOU’RE GOING TO THE COUNTRYSIDE

  • Go jogging and walking in the hills
  • Go for a bike ride or horse riding – horse riding uses lots of muscles that don’t normally get used!

IF YOU’RE GOING TO THE MOUNTAINS

  • Go for a long walk/trekking
  • Go mountain biking
  • Try white water rafting

IF YOU’RE GOING TO THE BEACH

  • Swim
  • Go for long walks on the beach
  • Try water sports like surfing, windsurfing, waterskiing, kayaking or snorkelling etc…
  • Walk through water with water up to your waist: this combats cellulite. The higher the water level, the harder it is!

AND… IF YOU’RE GOING TO THE POOL!

Try out some simple Acquagym exercises!

For your glutes: high water alternately kick your legs in front you, whild holding a foot firmly on the pool floor. When kicking-off, hold the leg with which you’re kicking in the high position for at least 5-10 seconds then lower it.

For the legs: jump bringing your legs up to your chest. The water level should be around shoulder height.

For your abs: lean against the edge of the pool with your back and raise both legs simultaneously.
