Socks and heels: instructions for use!
Socks and heels. Yesterday a girl asked me how to wear heels in winter. Brrrr! So cold, I’m freezing just thinking about it! It’s true that here, October 2nd seems like late summer. But alas, cold temperatures will come very soon! So a solution that is very fashionable this winter (more than other years ..) is to match your heels (but also lace-up shoes, ankle boots and boots) to your stockings, socks, and tights that are on view. You will either love or hate this trend…
Socks and heels: instructions for use!
- Socks and heels, if combined in the right way (In today’s gallery you will find many examples of style and color combinations) is a great look. Pity it has a “slight defect” of making your legs look shorter. So this is best for those only with long legs. Some tips?! Try them with midi skirts below the knee or with ankle length trousers: strange but true, it seems that they put figure in proportion.
- It’s a different story for mannish brogues with socks: my eternal love. This is perfect with skirts and with ankle length trousers. I love them! See two of my looks HERE and HERE.
- The ultra “cozy” version which immediately brings comfort: wooly socks poking out of lace up boots or knee high boots. Choose socks in a color that matches your outfit. See for example THIS look or THIS look with rain boots.
Here are all the photos. What do you think of socks, stockings and tights? Do you usually wear them? Let me know your ideas!
